Terms of use

Great that you use Ripely. Below are the agreements between you and us. We kept them as short and clear as we could.

1. Who are we?

Ripely is a service of Studiooo (sole proprietorship), Lijsterbes 11, 7623 ZP Borne, the Netherlands. Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 60030887. You can reach us at hello@ripely.nl.

2. What does Ripely do?

Ripely turns the export files of your broker into an overview of your investments: your positions, value, dividends and diversification. Ripely doesn't make transactions, doesn't manage money and has no access to your broker or bank.

3. No financial advice

Ripely shows numbers, but doesn't give advice. Nothing in Ripely is investment, tax or financial advice. You make your own decisions about your money. Ripely is not an investment firm or financial advisor, so it has no license from the AFM (the Dutch financial markets authority). In doubt? Ask a licensed advisor.

4. Are the numbers right?

We do our best to calculate everything correctly. But the numbers are only as good as the data that goes in: the files you upload, the prices from your own export, and fund data from third parties (like the composition of ETFs). That data can be incomplete, outdated or different from what your broker shows. Always check important numbers with your broker. Your broker is always right.

5. Your account

• You are 18 or older.
• You have one account for yourself and use a valid email address that belongs to you.
• You keep your password, authenticator app and recovery codes secret.
• Notice that someone else got into your account? Change your password right away, sign out everywhere else and let us know.

6. What we ask of you

Don't use Ripely to disrupt or abuse the service, or to try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours. Only upload your own files. If you do these things anyway, we may block or delete your account.

7. Your data

Your data stays yours. We only use it to make Ripely work for you, as described in our privacy policy.

8. Costs

Ripely is free right now. If we offer paid features, we'll tell you well in advance. You never pay unless you choose to.

9. Availability and changes

We want Ripely to always work, but we can't promise it. Sometimes there's maintenance or an outage. We may improve and change Ripely. If we stop (part of) the service, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance, so you can save your data.

10. Liability

Ripely is a tool for insight. We're not liable for decisions you make based on the numbers in Ripely, or for damage caused by incorrect data from third parties. This doesn't apply if the damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on our side, and it never limits your rights as a consumer under the law.

11. Stopping

You can stop anytime by deleting your account on the Settings page. We then delete your data right away. We can end your account if you don't follow these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we'll email you about important changes at least 30 days in advance. Don't agree? Then you can delete your account.

13. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. If we can't work it out together, a dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a consumer you may also choose the court where you live.
